The first makeup that should be applied to your face is foundation. If you are going to use concealers for under-eye areas or blemishes, you must use this first before the foundation. After the foundation, blushers may be applied, followed by powders, eye makeup, and finally, lip liners or lipsticks.
The ideal and “perfect” face shape is oval. One may use darker foundation shades to contour the face shape to follow this oval ideal. For instance, people with round faces may apply darker foundation tones on their temples as well as around the face to create an oval illusion. For people who have rectangular or square faces, darker foundation tones may be used on all four corners to change facial contours. With regular practice, you can look great with simple face makeup techniques.
